Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior AI Platform Engineer to lead the technical strategy for a secure agentic AI platform hosted in AWS GovCloud IL5. You will blend cloud and platform engineering with DoD security accreditation, RMF, and DevSecOps to enable secure deployment of AI capabilities.

Your role includes coordinating with platform security, ISSO/ISSM, and AO stakeholders, building secure engineering patterns, and driving accreditation from the start. Remote with on-site reporting near Adelphi, MD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field.
8+ years in cloud, platform, DevOps, or MLOps engineering.
U.S. citizenship with active Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility.
Experience supporting security accreditation/RMF with stakeholders.
DoD or federal cloud environment IL4/IL5 or FedRAMP moderate/high.
Hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and IaC experience.

Responsibilities

Lead accreditation strategy for the agentic AI platform and security controls.
Develop artifacts for ATO and cATO, including diagrams and data flows.
Collaborate with ISSO/ISSM and AO stakeholders on complex architectures.
Design, build, and operate a secure AWS GovCloud IL5 platform.
Deploy containerized workloads with Kubernetes and Docker; ensure observability.
Build CI/CD pipelines and IaC using Platform One, Terraform or CloudFormation.
Support image accreditation, container hardening, and secure delivery.
Integrate AWS Bedrock and managed AI/ML services, manage IAM and data flows.
Implement logging, monitoring, and cost attribution; apply MLOps practices.
Mentor engineers and develop a platform roadmap aligned with missions.
