Job summary

Peregrine Advisors LLC is seeking a DevSecOps/platform engineer to own delivery pipelines and environments across AWS. You will build CI/CD pipelines, craft Linux images, and manage security-focused deployments for federal clients, including SageMaker and EC2-based platforms.

You will automate tasks, review code, and contribute to runbooks while partnering with senior engineers on architecture decisions in a remote/hybrid setting in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years DevSecOps or platform engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on AWS cloud infra administration and knowledge of compute, storage, networking, IAM.
• Practical infra as code (CloudFormation or CDK), CI/CD with security gates, Docker image creation.
• Linux admin and troubleshooting, scripting in Python and Bash.
• Understanding of least-privilege, zero-trust, secure deployment processes.
• Git-based version control, monitoring and logging, and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned delivery pipelines and environments; enable enterprise tools and platform integrations.
• Build/configure CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure validation, testing, deployment, and release promotion.
• Create and manage Linux images; configure cloud networking, storage, compute, and access controls.
• Write scripts to automate recurring tasks; participate in code reviews and runbooks; mentor junior engineers.
