Job summary

Catalyst Brands is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the design, automation, and reliability of our data and analytics platform in a hybrid Dallas-based role. You will build scalable infrastructure on AWS, manage CI/CD, and practice IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation while collaborating with data engineering and analytics teams to deliver resilient systems and secure operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; 5+ years of platform engineering experience.
Strong experience with Snowflake, MicroStrategy and Tableau platform administration and support.
Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC).
CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with analytics platforms (Airflow, Datameer, Tableau).
Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
Scripting with Python, Bash, or similar.
Familiarity with monitoring, security, and cloud architecture principles.
Excellent cross-functional communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS and analytics tools.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics apps.
Manage IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ensure platform reliability with monitoring, logging, and incident response.
Optimize performance, cost, and security across cloud environments.
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and business teams.
Lead platform standardization and adopt new tools as needed.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
