Job summary

Catalyst Brands LLC seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to architect and govern scalable, secure cloud infrastructure for its data and analytics platform. You’ll own CI/CD, IaC, monitoring, and governance across AWS, Snowflake, MicroStrategy, Tableau, and Airflow, partnering with data engineering and analytics teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with 5+ years of platform engineering experience.
Experience administering Snowflake, MicroStrategy and Tableau platforms.
Strong AWS experience (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC).
Hands-on CI/CD experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar tools.
Experience with IaC using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with analytics platforms like Airflow, Datameer and Tableau.
Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in Python/PySpark, Bash scripting; familiarity with monitoring tools.
Understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture principles.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS and analytics tools.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data and analytics deployments.
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Ensure platform reliability with monitoring, logging, and incident response.
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost across cloud environments.
Apply security and compliance controls, including access management and data protection.
Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to enable data workflows.
Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
Support environment provisioning and release management; lead platform standardization.
Evaluate and integrate new platforms and tools as the data ecosystem evolves.
Participate in on-call rotations and lead platform-related incidents.
