Job summary

Stratyx seeks a Team Lead DevOps Engineer in Annapolis Junction, MD to architect and maintain a reliable platform for a modernized system. You will lead the infrastructure using AWS, IaC tooling, and container orchestration with Kubernetes while driving CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities include managing team priorities, optimizing costs, and ensuring high availability, security, and on-call readiness, with limited work-from-home flexibility in a SCIF environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 12+ years of experience, or 10+ years with a related Master's.
Active Top Secret clearance with polygraph; CI within the last 7 years.
Strong extensive AWS experience, IaC, scripting, and automation capabilities.
Ability to operate in a SCIF and support on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and optimize AWS infrastructure and services.
Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and Argo CD.
Lead and coordinate DevOps tasks, sprints, and workload planning for the team.
Monitor cost, performance, and reliability; drive optimization across environments.
Collaborate with development teams to improve application reliability and scalability.
