Job summary

Akina, Inc. seeks a DevOps Development Lead to oversee a modernized operational system, delivering a reliable platform orchestrating microservices. The role emphasizes on-site work within an SCIF, leveraging cutting-edge AWS technologies, IaC, and container orchestration to optimize performance and cost.

Significant collaboration with teams and stakeholders is required, along with strong experience in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation to drive efficient software delivery.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience architecting infrastructure leveraging AWS technologies and services.
• Developing Infrastructure As Code (IaC) and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools.
• Strong background in containerization technologies: Kubernetes (EKS/ECS/Fargate), Docker, Docker Compose.
• Perform high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation, cost analysis and resolutions.
• Cloud cost optimization and reduction of AWS service costs through architecture decisions.
• Ability to translate program needs into CI/CD and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a reliable, highly available platform that orchestrates microservices.
• Architect infrastructure leveraging AWS services and Terraform-based IaC.
• Develop IaC and scripts to automate provisioning and tooling.
• Install, configure, and optimize Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, and Docker environments.
• Drive cost evaluation and savings for cloud resources.
• Lead collaboration with stakeholders and team members on architecture direction.
