Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive scalable AWS infrastructure and reliable delivery practices.

You will own Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and Docker/Kubernetes/EKS operations while also contributing to React/TypeScript and backend services with Node.js, Java, or .NET. You will design and operate AWS infrastructure with EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, and API Gateway; implement IaC; create CI/CD pipelines; administer containers; and collaborate with cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of DevOps or SRE experience.
• Hands-on AWS with EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway.
• IaC with Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Containerization with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Frontend with React/TypeScript; backend with Node.js, Java or .NET.
• English at B2 level or higher.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and operate AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, Lambda, EMS/EKS, RDS, API Gateway.
• Create and evolve IaC using Terraform, CloudFormation or AWS CDK.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GH Actions or Jenkins.
• Administer containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Contribute to frontend with React/TypeScript and backend with Node.js/Java/ .NET.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable deployments.
• Monitor and diagnose infrastructure and application performance.
