Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer to design and deliver production-grade web systems across frontend and backend services.

You will lead cross-team technical direction and ship accessible, high-performance experiences. You'll develop features with TypeScript and React, build JVM or TS backends in Kotlin/Java, design APIs with gRPC/protobuf and REST, and model data in DynamoDB and PostgreSQL while leveraging AWS, containers, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack web engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong TypeScript and modern React experience including state management and performance optimization.
• Hands-on gRPC and protobuf experience alongside HTTP and REST APIs.
• Solid DynamoDB and PostgreSQL data modeling experience for product features.
• Strong AWS, containers, and CI/CD consumer experience in production environments.
• Strong testing discipline across unit, integration, and end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and design decisions across frontend and backend systems.
• Build and ship full-stack features using TypeScript and React with strong state management practices.
• Develop backend services and shared libraries using Kotlin/Java on the JVM or TypeScript.
