Job summary

Humana is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead the Developer Tools and Software Catalog ecosystem across the enterprise. You will drive strategy, governance, and lifecycle management, collaborating with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Product teams to advance Developer Experience (DX) and automation.

You will oversee tooling standards, self-service capabilities, onboarding, upgrades, and platform migrations, while evaluating new technologies including AI-assisted

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Experience with enterprise developer tooling ecosystems and modern development practices.
• Experience with Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, SQL, and Java/.NET development.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of the enterprise developer tooling ecosystem.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Product teams to drive Developer Experience (DevEx).
• Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and tooling standards across the organization.
• Oversee tool lifecycle management including onboarding, upgrades, licensing, renewals, and retirement.
• Lead platform migrations and evaluate emerging technologies including AI-assisted developer tools.
