Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to own the Developer Tools and Software Catalog ecosystem. You will drive strategy, governance, and lifecycle management across enterprise tooling, partner with Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure, and advance automation, self-service capabilities, and DX.

You will lead platform migrations, evaluate new technologies including AI-assisted tooling, and focus on developer productivity and platform reliability across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of the enterprise developer tooling ecosystem.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Product teams to improve Developer Experience (DX).
• Drive automation, self-service capabilities, and tooling standards.
• Oversee tool lifecycle: onboarding, upgrades, licensing, renewals, and retirement.
• Lead platform migrations and evaluate new technologies, including AI-assisted tools.
• Monitor adoption, risk remediation, and cost optimization.
