Humana is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to drive the enterprise Developer Tools and Software Catalog, delivering secure, scalable software delivery and an exceptional Developer Experience (DevEx).

You will partner with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture and Product teams to set tooling standards, automate operations, and enable self-service capabilities while overseeing tool lifecycles, migrations, and AI-assisted tooling innovations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or related field required.
• 8+ years of software engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Experience supporting enterprise developer tooling ecosystems.
• Proficiency with Azure, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, SQL, and Java or .NET development.
• Experience with artifact management platforms such as JFrog and integrations with core DevOps platforms.
• Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripting.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of the enterprise developer tooling ecosystem.
• Partner with Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and Product teams to drive Developer Experience (DevEx) and automation initiatives.
• Define tooling standards, governance, best practices, and support models.
• Own Developer Experience (DevEx) including onboarding, Day 2 operations, self-service tooling, and productivity initiatives.
• Oversee tool lifecycle management, including onboarding, upgrades, licensing, renewals, adoption, and retirement.
• Drive modernization, automation, self-service, and developer productivity initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors to align tooling strategy and roadmaps; lead platform migrations.
• Monitor operational metrics, adoption trends, risk remediation, and cost optimization.
