Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Development Leader to guide the Engineering Team through large, bundled Sustainability Infrastructure projects. You will support sales with technical, financial, and process input, and mentor junior engineers.

The role emphasizes advanced solution design, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop budgets and schedules, and present to C-level buyers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Minimum of ten years experience in designing/selling building systems, HVAC, energy modeling, construction, or facility management.
• CEM Certification required, P.E., LEED AP preferred.
• Strong analytical and leadership abilities with customer-facing experience.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project, EQuest, and benchmarking tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, process or financial support to Sales during design.
• Lead data collection, auditing, and modeling for opportunities.
• Develop development budgets, schedules, scopes, and ROI models.
• Lead cross-functional teams in bundled sale development.
• Perform detailed engineering or financial analysis of projects.
