Job summary

R&P Technologies is seeking a senior Design Integration Manager to steer cross-disciplinary engineering efforts for the AS(X) Subtender program. You will coordinate across electrical, structural, mechanical and naval architecture teams, ensuring design products meet Navy requirements and program constraints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years in U.S. Navy ship design, acquisition or modernization programs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering integration efforts.
• Knowledge of NAVSEA design processes and technical authority responsibilities.
• Ability to coordinate design products across engineering organizations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead design integration representative for the PAE-Maritime Ship Design Manager.
• Lead and mentor a team of senior engineers and SMEs to drive execution and meet objectives.
• Coordinate design efforts across electrical, structural, mechanical and naval architecture disciplines.
• Evaluate design products for completeness, interfaces and compliance with Navy standards.
• Lead technical discussions, design reviews and configuration management.
• Review contract deliverables, analyses, drawings and documentation.
• Support PDRs, CDRs and IPT meetings; coordinate government and industry interfaces.
• Monitor risks and develop mitigation strategies; support ECPs and design decisions.
