Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree and years of experience per level.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Subject matter expertise in Navy structural designs.
• Ability to independently lead technical integration activities.
• Proficient with advanced structural analysis tools.
• Strong 3D modeling and CAD skills.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Experience with structural testing, validation, and failure analysis.
• Ability to manage complex engineering projects with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel 10–25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and develop structural engineering specs for metals, non-metals, and composites.
• Support product design and operation across multiple systems and drawings.
• Analyze damage tolerance, durability, design allowables, and structural modeling.
• Perform dynamics and loads, stability, fatigue, and thermal analyses.
• Serve as senior Structural Engineer on Navy programs.
• Lead technical integration activities with Navy stakeholders.
• Apply advanced engineering principles to solve complex problems.
• Serve as an organizational spokesperson on advanced projects.
• Advise management and customers on advanced technical studies.
