Benchmark Utility Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead utility construction projects in a design-build environment. You will manage schedules, budgets, resources, subcontractors, vendors and client communications under the guidance of the Senior PM.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting, with travel to job sites as needed.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction management or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of utility construction or heavy civil project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and project documentation.
• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project.

Mansioni

• Lead full lifecycle project execution from preconstruction through closeout.
• Develop and manage project schedules and look-ahead planning.
• Build and track budgets; monitor costs and forecast financial performance.
• Serve as primary client contact and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with superintendents and field teams for labor, equipment, and materials.
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor procurement and contract compliance.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, quality standards, and inspections.
• Establish and maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, reports).
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation to protect schedule and budget.
• Lead change order processes including pricing and approvals.
• Support preconstruction scopes and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate design information flow with BIM and design teams.
• Lead project closeout activities and client turnover.
• Promote safety culture in partnership with the safety team.
• Mentor Assistant Project Managers and Field Engineers.
