Job summary

Wilson Bank & Trust in Lebanon, TN is seeking a Deposit Documentation Manager to oversee the deposit documentation function, ensuring compliance and efficient processes. The role focuses on legal/regulatory requirements for account documents and mentoring the team.

As part of Deposit Operations, you will report to the Deposit Operations Manager, support customers and staff, and drive improvements while upholding the bank's values and commitment to service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in deposit documentation including legal, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• 1 year of experience with Jack Henry Silverlake systems as relates to deposit operations or deposit parameters preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Teams, OneNote, SharePoint, and other standard software applications.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and state legal requirements as pertains to deposits.
• Ability to train others in one-on-one and presentation-style environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Deposit Documentation team and foster a growth-oriented culture.
• Oversee all aspects of the deposit documentation function including policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
• Review policies and procedures related to deposit documentation, updating as needed.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff with ongoing performance feedback.
• Drive operational efficiency and cross-functional initiatives in banking processes.
• Maintain familiarity with department processes and assist in development and maintenance as changes occur.
• Verify deposit documentation input and review for accuracy and timeliness.
• Determine course of action for exception items and serve as backup trainer for new hire orientation.
• Maintain an acceptable annual audit rating for department processes.
• Support management and customers with expertise in deposit documentation including titling and related areas.
