Job summary

Modern Dental Smiles is seeking a Lead Dental Assistant to drive clinical efficiency and back-office operations across three state-of-the-art locations in Palm Beach County. You will serve as a clinical partner to the owner, lead a collaborative team, and uphold a patient-centered practice culture.

You will oversee digital workflows, intraoral scanning, implant surgeries, and orthodontic support while ensuring seamless coordination with front office staff and clinicians in a doctor-owned setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-level chairside dental assisting experience with lead or supervisory duties.
• Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience with intraoral scanning, implant setups/restorations, endodontics, and orthodontics.
• Strong cross-departmental collaboration with doctors, admin staff, and peers.
• Excellent organizational, facility management, and supply inventory capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical operations and partner with the owner to translate vision into daily practice.
• Collaborate across front office and clinical teams to ensure smooth patient hand-offs.
• Manage back-office excellence, inventory, and structured supply setups.
• Oversee digital workflows, intraoral scanning, and training of staff on protocols.
• Coordinate scheduling, treatment presentation details, and patient education.
