Job summary

UPL is seeking a Demand Planning Manager for its NA units (US Ag and B2B). The role drives consensus demand plans across sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance, managing unconstrained and constrained forecasts and aligning inventory with working capital goals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in demand planning, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments for efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 8+ years in demand planning, commercial ops, or sales analytics.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proactive mindset.
• Experience leading or participating in S&OP processes.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and forecasting tools; SAP or similar ERP experience preferred.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Adaptability and resilience with openness to change and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end demand planning for USAg and B2B units.
• Facilitate monthly Pre-S&OP and S&OP meetings across teams.
• Drive implementation of a new APS tool in North America.
• Ensure NA requirements are met across the F2S project.
• Collaborate with Country Heads, KAMs, and RSMs on trends and insights.
• Provide analytical insights for Commercial Leadership and FP&A.
• Liaise across Commercial, Supply Chain, and Marketing for coordination.
• Support distributor tools and channel materials aligned to business goals.
• Guide product allocations and quarterly initiatives with teams.
• Develop regional demand planning processes and exec planning.
• Assist annual sales planning and budgeting alignment.
• Maintain forecasting processes updated monthly/quarterly.
