Job summary

ABB Lancaster, TX is seeking a Demand Planning professional to generate and maintain an unconstrained demand plan for 12–18 months. You will coordinate with Sales, Projects, Finance, and Product Management to improve forecast accuracy and drive S&OP input.

The role requires SAP/ERP experience, strong data analysis, and excellent communication skills to operate across functions and segments of the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant field with 8+ years in materials planning, sourcing, or logistics.
• ERP system experience, SAP or equivalent, plus supply chain certifications preferred.
• Strong analytical, forecasting, and communication skills; ability to lead cross-functional workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and analyzes data to create an unconstrained demand plan for 12–18 months.
• Maintains the unconstrained plan and supports S&OP input with Sales sign-off.
• Forecasts weekly inbound demand and develops consumption models to improve accuracy.
• Collaborates with Sales, Projects, Finance, Product Management and internal customers to improve forecast accuracy.
• Defines inventory policies per ABC segmentation and uses Anaplan for portfolio segmentation.
