Job summary

Mercury Systems, Inc. in Hudson, NH is seeking a Principal Program Manager to lead one or more programs from ideation through production and in-service support, focusing on delivery quality and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across contracts, planning, finance, operations and engineering to deliver mission-critical defense solutions, leveraging MS Project, ERP/MRP systems and EVMS knowledge to manage scope, schedule and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 6+ years of progressive program management experience in defense hardware.
• Experience with EAC management and financial acumen.
• Experience with Prime and/or Government contracting.
• Experience with MS Project.
• Must have or obtain a U.S. government security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Execute programs to scope, schedule, cost, and quality over full lifecycle.
• Develop execution plans, IMS, build plans, and critical paths.
• Ensure on-time deliverables, documentation and products.
• Identify and manage scope changes through approval and execution.
• Perform risk and opportunities management with action plans.
• Provide resource details for successful program execution.
• Respond to RFPs, develop proposals and schedules, matrices and bid material.
• Create SOWs and perform sub-contract management as required.
• Present program status to leadership; report KPIs weekly/monthly.
• Be the point of contact for customers and drive satisfaction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Mission Assurance on decisions.
