Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Lead Engineer to serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Generating Station Distributed Control Systems (DCS). The role involves technical support for coal, natural gas, solar, and storage facilities across multiple regions with significant leadership responsibilities.

Travel 15-25% is expected. A BS with PE is required, with a Master's degree preferred. Relocation assistance is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with PE
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience
• Master's degree in Engineering can substitute for BS

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for control systems across multiple generation facilities
• Coordinate with OEMs and plant operations for troubleshooting and guidance
• Lead fleet-level standards, practices, and procedures for DCS engineering
