Job summary

Viridian Wellness & Rehabilitation in Arlington, TX is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse to lead CNAs during the 6AM–6PM weekend schedule. You will oversee daily resident care, coordinate admissions, and ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

You will transcribe physician orders, administer medications, document status changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide holistic care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or approved LPN/LVN program.
• Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of CNAs and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in admission, discharge, and transfer of residents.
• Observe and document changes in resident status.
• Transcribe physician orders and carry out orders as written.
• Administer medications and wound care as needed.
• Provide leadership to nursing staff and promote teamwork.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
• Ensure adequate stock of medications, supplies, and equipment.
• Participate in end-of-life care as needed.
• Promote compliance and confidentiality of protected health information.
