Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an on-site professional in Atlanta, GA for a contract-to-hire position. You will lead major project crews, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with the Project Manager on productivity and budgets.

Responsibilities include training, safety meetings, and on-site customer liaison, with focus on fiber, cabling, testing, and terminations. The role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive hourly pay range.

Responsibilities

• Consistently run major project crews; ensure safe, quality work and training; hold weekly safety meetings.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure productivity, completion, and budget compliance.
• Complete internal/project paperwork on time (timesheets, transfers, work orders).
• Perform quality checks; coordinate moves and cross-connect drawings; prepare red-lined as-builts.
• Serve as main on-site customer contact; attend facility/construction meetings as required.

Job Description

• Consistently run major project crews; assume responsibility for effective performance and provide necessary training; assume responsibility for adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines and hold weekly safety meetings; initiate performance-related communications and escalate to Project Manager if necessary.


• Coordinates with Project Manager/Project Lead to ensure productivity, job completion and compliance with project budget.


• Fully completes all internal and project paperwork accurately and on time (specifically timesheets, material transfers, work orders, change orders, tool transfers and others as required).


• Perform quality checks; coordinate moves and cut sheets for voice and data cross connects; prepare red-lined as-built drawings.


• Serves as main on-site customer contact for questions and/or concerns; attend facility and constructions meetings when required.


• Performs work consistently demonstrating a detailed level of technical knowledge; troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.


• Complete other responsibilities as assigned. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
