Job summary

TEKsystems seeks Installer Technicians at levels II–IV for large-scale hyperscale data center and telecom projects across Texas. The role emphasizes telecom installations, fiber deployment, and rack-and-stack in fast-paced environments.

You will read engineering drawings, perform cabling, and assist with turn-up and commissioning. Ideal candidates have experience with data center deployments, fiber testing, and equipment wiring.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Install and implement transport equipment in data center and telecom environments
• Perform rack and stack of transport, network, and telecom equipment
• Mount and secure hardware according to engineering specifications
• Install, route, terminate, clean, and test fiber optic cabling
• Complete copper and low-voltage cabling installations
• Perform equipment wiring and connectivity work
• Support power installation, power connections, and equipment integration
• Assist with equipment turn-up and commissioning activities
• Read and interpret installation drawings, rack elevations, and technical documentation
• Maintain installation quality standards and follow all site safety requirements
• Troubleshoot installation issues and ensure successful deployment of customer equipment

Overview

Our client is seeking experienced Installer Technicians (Levels II, III, and IV) to support large-scale hyperscale data center and telecom infrastructure projects across Texas. Due to significant growth and newly awarded business, the team is expanding to support multiple high-profile customers throughout the state.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with telecom installations, fiber infrastructure, rack-and-stack activities, equipment implementation, and data center deployments.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge network infrastructure projects involving some of the industry's leading transport technologies.

Responsibilities

• Install and implement transport equipment in data center and telecom environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Allen, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
