Job summary

Facility Solutions Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead Data Technician to oversee installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting of structured cabling and low‑voltage systems on commercial construction sites.

You will lead field crews, work with the Foreman and Project Manager, and ensure quality, safety, and on-schedule delivery. You will train junior technicians, interpret blueprints and diagrams, coordinate with general contractors and other trades, and maintain accurate testing and

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial structured cabling or low‑voltage installation experience.
• Experience leading technicians or crews on construction sites.
• Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct small crews on active sites.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and workflow with Foreman/PM.
• Terminate, test, troubleshoot, and label CAT5e/CAT6/CAT6A and fiber cabling.
• Install and maintain cabling infrastructure and low‑voltage devices.
• Read drawings and ensure installations meet specs.
• Mentor junior technicians and enforce safety protocols.
