Job summary

SES S.A Brazil seeks a Data Service Architect, Network Planning to design end-to-end service architectures across our global network and satellite portfolio. You will translate business needs into scalable service designs, collaborating with engineering, operations, product management, and commercial teams.

This role focuses on ensuring performance, scalability, resilience, and cost-effectiveness while contributing to roadmaps and architectural strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or satellite services.
• Strong understanding of IP networking (MPLS, VPNs, routing protocols).
• Knowledge of satellite communications and ground infrastructure.
• Experience with end-to-end service design across multiple domains.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-aligned solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end service architectures spanning space, ground, and terrestrial domains.
• Translate customer and business requirements into detailed technical service designs.
• Define service models, workflows, and operational processes (fulfillment, assurance, lifecycle management).
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Product & Commercial teams on service definition and packaging.
• Develop standardized service templates and design frameworks to accelerate delivery.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, resilience, and security requirements.
• Support cost modeling and business case development for new services.
