Job summary

SES Satellites is seeking experienced Service Architects to design, develop, and evolve end-to-end service architectures across our global network and satellite portfolio. These roles translate business and customer requirements into scalable, reliable, and cost-effective service solutions.

The Service Architects will work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, product management, and commercial teams to ensure service offerings are technically sound, operationally viable, and aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in telecommunications, networking, or satellite services.
• Proven experience in service architecture / solution design.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end service architectures spanning space, ground, and terrestrial networks.
• Translate customer and business requirements into technical service designs.
• Define service models, workflows, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering, Product & Commercial, and Operations.
• Develop standardized service templates and design frameworks.
• Ensure performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
• Support cost modeling and business case development for new services.
• Participate in customer engagements as the technical authority when needed.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and architectural strategy.
