Job summary

Paramount is seeking a senior data science leader to advance causal inference and subscriber analytics within the Global Content and Lifecycle Analytics group. You will drive experiments and models that influence retention, ARPU, and LTV across the subscriber journey.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Finance to translate findings into actionable levers, mentor a growing team, and ensure robust data systems for causal analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Science).
• 10+ years in data science/analytics with hands-on and team-leading work.
• Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests and experiments at scale.
• Built or run LTV, survival, or churn models and translated into financial metrics (ARPU, retention curves).
• Strong SQL skills and a stats language (Python or R) for causal modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead causal inference frameworks (quasi-experimental methods, uplift modeling, instrumental variables, matching, diff-in-diff).
• Turn causal findings into levers with Lifecycle Marketing and Product (content, onboarding, pricing, promos).
• Own linking content and journey optimization to outcomes like ARPU, survival, and LTV.
• Design, launch, and analyze A/B tests across the subscriber journey (acquisition, onboarding, involvement, win-back).
• Build and maintain LTV and survival models for use by Finance and DTC teams.
• Lead subscriber journey mapping to identify levers driving retention and monetization.
• Run pricing and promo analyses to balance short-term conversion and long-term value.
• Explain technical findings clearly to non-technical teams; mentor the team.
• Work with Data Engineering and Product Analytics to keep data systems reliable.
• Share findings with senior leaders to shape the roadmap and investments across Marketing, Product, and Finance.
