Job summary

Safelite is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to architect and lead end-to-end data science initiatives across Consumer Sales & Pricing. You will develop innovative ML models, deploy them to production, and translate complex outputs into actionable business insights that drive pricing strategy and revenue growth.

You will mentor junior data scientists, collaborate with engineering and product teams, and ensure models are scalable, explainable, and maintainable in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• Master's degree preferred in related quantitative field.
• 7-9 years of experience in data science, ML, or advanced analytics is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of ML models, statistical frameworks, and optimization solutions for consumer and sales growth.
• Drive innovation with DL, NLP, causal inference, RL and emerging AI tech.
• Serve as technical escalation point for complex analytical challenges.
• Own full lifecycle of DS solutions from problem framing to deployment and monitoring.
• Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches.
