Job summary

PNC is seeking a Data Scientist Lead in the Data & Automation - AI Governance & Oversight organization. The role is based in Strongsville, OH, with flexibility to be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL, and focuses on AI solution validation across the enterprise.

You will lead AI validation standards, monitor post-deployment performance, and partner with delivery teams to ensure governance while enabling timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Analytical thinking and data-driven problem solving are required.
• Experience with data mining, machine learning, and analytics pipelines is preferred.
• Masters degree or higher is expected for advanced data science work.

Responsibilities

• Directs analytical projects using structured and unstructured data to extract actionable insights.
• Leads data gathering, processing and mining of large datasets to advance analytics capabilities.
• Represents PNC in data science discussions and showcases analytical processes to management.
• Oversees implementation of advanced analytics projects and helps present results to leadership.
• Collaborates with Data Architects, Analysts, Engineers and Visualization Experts to build data-driven solutions.
