Job summary

PNC is seeking a Data Scientist Lead (onsite) in Pittsburgh to own AI solution validation across the enterprise. You’ll drive certification decisions, oversee post-deployment monitoring, and provide executive visibility into AI performance and risk.

The role partners with data architecture, analytics, and engineering teams to uphold governance standards. Your experience will shape validation frameworks, ensuring timely delivery while aligning with enterprise policies and risk management

Qualifications

• Masters degree required per posting.
• 8+ years of industry relevant experience.
• Higher level education such as Masters, PhD, or certifications desirable.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable mix of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise portfolio of AI solution validation and assurance activities.
• Evaluate AI solutions pre-release and certify/go-no-go decisions based on risk controls.
• Oversee post-deployment monitoring of AI performance, risk, and safety metrics.
