PNC is seeking a Data Scientist Lead in an in-office capacity to steward Responsible AI principles, lead governance forums, and partner with HR, Ethics, and Compliance. The role requires building relationships with senior leaders and communicating complex AI governance topics to executives.

Based in Pittsburgh, Strongsville, Dallas, or Birmingham, the position emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering executive-ready analyses and reports to guide

Qualifications

• Masters degree preferred with additional certifications desirable.
• 8+ years industry experience in data science or related field.
• Experience in AI governance and risk management is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as steward of enterprise Responsible AI principles and governance.
• Lead cross-functional Responsible AI Governance Forum operations.
• Partner with HR, Ethics, Compliance to drive enterprise-wide Responsible and Ethical AI practices.
• Review AI solutions for alignment with Responsible AI principles and identify risks.
• Coordinate external academic research partnerships on responsible AI in finance.
• Build relationships with senior leaders to coordinate initiatives with executive stakeholders.
• Communicate governance, risk, and compliance topics to executives through presentations and briefings.
• Develop executive reports and communications to support governance forums.
