Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy engineering and data protection across structured and unstructured data. You will shape scalable architectures, governance controls, and automated solutions that safeguard sensitive data while enabling compliant data use.

Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Engineering, Data, Product, Legal and Compliance to translate regulations into scalable, privacy-by-design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, and similar frameworks.
• Experience leading cross-functional privacy initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data protection and privacy engineering strategy across data environments.
• Design and deploy PETs, including encryption, tokenization, anonymization, and DLP.
• Partner with engineering, product, legal, compliance, and cybersecurity teams on privacy-by-design.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations.
• Drive governance, privacy metrics, automation, and continuous improvement.
