CVS Health is seeking a Lead Data Privacy Engineer to advance enterprise privacy engineering and data protection across structured and unstructured data. You will drive PETs implementations, data classification, and privacy-by-design practices while collaborating with Cybersecurity, Legal, and Compliance teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Privacy Engineering, Security Engineering, Data Protection, Cybersecurity, or related technical disciplines with GDPR/CCPA/HIPAA experience.
• 5+ years designing and deploying enterprise-scale data protection, including encryption, tokenization, DLP, and PETs.
• Strong software engineering foundation with 5+ years in Python, Java, Go, or similar languages.
• 5+ years in cloud-native/DevSecOps with CI/CD, IaC, security automation, and privacy threat modeling.
• 3+ years leading cross-functional privacy, data protection, cybersecurity, or compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and implementation of enterprise data protection and privacy engineering across structured and unstructured data.
• Design and deploy PETs such as encryption, tokenization, anonymization, and DLP; enable business innovation while protecting data.
• Partner with engineering, product, legal, compliance, and cybersecurity to embed privacy-by-design principles.
• Conduct privacy risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, threat modeling, and control evaluations for audits and regulatory obligations.
• Drive data governance, privacy metrics, automation, and advanced analytics to strengthen privacy posture.
