Job summary

Schwab is seeking an outcome-driven data technology lead to guide the re-architecting of our core enterprise data platform. You will lead a team of engineers, deliver scalable data pipelines, and ensure high-performance, secure data solutions across the organization.

Based in Texas (Austin/Southlake region), this on-site role emphasizes collaboration with product, QA, and operations to drive timely software releases and value for clients. Strong leadership and cloud data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 8+ years of data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of project lead experience in matrixed org.
• Financial services experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership to data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into solutions.
• Design and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for large data volumes.
• Implement ETL processes to integrate diverse data sources.
• Ensure data quality and governance across platforms.
• Mentor junior engineers and support deployment readiness.
