Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation seeks a data-focused professional to help build and deploy next-generation data and analytics platforms for Client Analytics Technology. You will collaborate across data engineering and analytics teams to design data pipelines, maintain data assets, and ensure compliant, well-documented data services.

Mentoring junior teammates and driving agile practices are also part of the role.

Qualifications

5+ years documenting business requirements and translating to dimensional data models using Erwin.
5+ years writing complex SQL and performing performance tuning.
3+ years designing near real-time data pipelines using BigQuery, Airflow, Informatica IDMC.
3+ years on agile teams delivering data solutions.
1+ years working with omni-channel customer interaction data to model data and pipelines.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners to understand data requirements and provide design guidance on schema, data movement, processing, and analytics patterns for dimensional data.
Capture, model, and document enterprise data views at contextual and logical levels using Erwin.
Design, implement, and maintain data services and real-time pipelines using current technologies and data engineering techniques.
Partner with platform architects to ensure alignment with published principles, guidelines, and standards.
Mentor and support team members to achieve objectives and improve performance.
Advocate for agile practices to increase delivery throughput.
Design and maintain solutions consistent with published standards.
