Job summary

TodayTix Group in New York City is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own and scale our data platform—the backbone connecting product, growth, finance, and CX with a single source of truth. You’ll lead the team responsible for staging, intermediates, marts, and the CI/CD pipeline on Snowflake, guiding architecture and delivery.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering with team leadership.
• Deep SQL and dbt expertise.
• Cloud data warehouse experience (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Experience scaling data platforms through growth (M&A).
• Full-stack data platform judgment across ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
• Strong architecture and code review abilities.
• Stakeholder management with product, finance, CX.
• AI fluency and comfort with AI agents as consumers.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform end-to-end — the dbt project and Snowflake infrastructure.
• Design onboarding of new data sources onto the platform as TTG scales.
• Partner with data consumers — product, growth, finance, CX — to model sources cleanly.
• Run intake and prioritization across a high-demand roadmap.
• Protect data quality with dbt tests, contracts, and CI checks.
• Set technical direction for the warehouse and conduct strong code reviews.
• Lead and grow the team with 1:1s and career development.
• Build AI integration and support AI agents as first-class users.
