Job summary

BioAgilytix is seeking a Data Engineer to lead the design, build, and support of our Enterprise Data Platform. You will create scalable ELT pipelines, model data, and establish governance across analytics, sponsorship, and regulatory reporting.

The role emphasizes Snowflake, dbt, data quality, and compliance with industry regulations, enabling AI initiatives and enterprise data products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related technical disciplines, preferably in life sciences or regulated industries.
• 3+ years designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale data engineering in production.
• 3+ years using Snowflake as the primary cloud data platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support scalable enterprise data platforms for analytics, science operations, sponsor reporting, regulatory compliance, and AI initiatives.
• Develop ELT pipelines integrating data from LIMS, ERP, CRM, APIs, sponsor systems, and cloud apps.
• Create modular data transformation frameworks with automated testing, documentation, lineage, and deployment automation.
• Develop dimensional and semantic data models and governed datasets across the organization.
• Ensure data quality, validation, lineage, auditability, and compliance with GxP, GLP, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11.
