Job summary

Recruiting From Scratch is hiring a Data Engineer in New York City to own ingestion, modeling, and pipeline development for a massive consumer data platform. You will design scalable systems, partner with Data Scientists, and enable AI-powered analytics and decision-making.

You will work on Snowflake-based lakehouse infrastructure and modern orchestration tools, with visa sponsorship options and a strong ownership culture in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building production data pipelines.
• Experience ingesting, transforming, and modeling data.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses or lakehouse architectures.
• Experience with multi-terabyte datasets and large-scale ingestion systems.
• Strong SQL and data quality awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own ingestion, data modeling, transformation, and pipeline development for a massive consumer data platform.
• Build scalable data pipelines supporting hundreds of millions of records.
• Design data models and transformations for analytics and AI systems.
• Integrate with Snowflake, cloud infrastructure, and orchestration tools like Dagster/dbt.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and engineers to productionize ML pipelines.
