Job summary

TodayTix Group in New York City is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to own the data platform, including the dbt project, CI/CD, and Snowflake infrastructure. You will drive architecture, strategy, and cross-functional leadership while hands-on modeling remains a minority.

As a senior technical leader, you will mentor engineers, ensure data quality and governance, and design scalable data ingestion for TTG's growing portfolio of live-entertainment brands.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data engineering or a related field.
• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Deep SQL and dbt expertise with production experience.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data warehouse.
• Experience onboarding and integrating new data sources at scale.
• Collaborates effectively with product, growth, finance, CX.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform end-to-end (dbt, staging → marts, CI/CD, Snowflake).
• Design and lead onboarding of new data sources as TTG scales.
• Mentor and grow the data engineering team and enforce best practices.
• Lead architecture discussions, reviews, and technical strategy.
• Ensure data quality, contracts, and governance across the warehouse.
