Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Solutions Architect, Data Governance to lead enterprise governance initiatives across client engagements.

You will design and implement governance programs, including metadata management, taxonomies, and data lineage, with a focus on Microsoft Purview and related Microsoft platforms. This client-facing role guides governance strategy, architecture, and operating models, collaborates with executive stakeholders, data leaders, and delivery teams, and ensures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, data management, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Seven+ years delivering enterprise data, information management, or data governance solutions.
• Hands-on implementation experience with Microsoft Purview (Unified Catalog, Data Map, Data Estate Insights).
• Experience establishing data stewardship programs with executive sponsorship and ownership structures.
• Leading customer-facing consulting engagements, governance assessments, and strategic advisory initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Data Governance Strategy and Architecture lead for governance initiatives across client engagements.
• Architect Microsoft Purview governance capabilities including data catalog, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Lead customer workshops, governance design sessions, and roadmap discussions with executives.
• Design governance monitoring and reporting using Azure Monitor and related platforms.
• Advise on governance readiness for Microsoft Fabric, Azure and enterprise AI initiatives.
