Lead Data Entry Pharmacy Technician (Healthcare)

Our Company: SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Supervisor.
2. Lead and coordinate daily activities of the Data Entry, Refill, Customer Service, and Narcotics departments.
3. Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties, delegated tasks, and proper cut-off times and deadlines.
4. Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
5. Communicate staffing needs or issues with the Data Entry Supervisor.
6. Investigate and resolve problems related to orders.
7. Maintain specialized queues (e.g., Pending, Backup).
8. Provide on-the-job training for new hires when necessary.
9. Stay informed by attending department in-services and keeping up with changes in laws and regulations.
10. Assist in cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas.
11. Complete daily tasks such as OTC Report, Duplicate Report, etc.
12. Perform other duties as requested.

Shift: 2:30pm-11pm, Monday through Friday or 2:30pm-11pm on weekends (alternating three weekdays for full-time).

Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the OH Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
• Must be able to multitask and be reliable.
• Familiarity with SIG codes.
• Fast typing skills.
• Computer literate; knowledge of Frameworks LTC system is a plus.
