Job description

Our Company

SpecialtyRx is a Long-Term Care pharmacy providing pharmaceutical services to long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. SpecialtyRx takes pride in delivering personalized care and quality pharmacy services.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by the Data Entry Supervisor.
• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the Data Entry, Refill, Customer Service, and Narcotics departments.
• Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties, delegated tasks, and proper cut-off times and deadlines.
• Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
• Communicate any staffing needs or issues with the Data Entry Supervisor.
• Investigate and resolve problems and issues related to orders.
• Ensure that specialized queues are maintained (e.g., Pending, Backup).
• Provide on-the-job training for new hires when necessary.
• Stay informed by attending department in-services and keeping up with changes in local, state, federal, and company laws and regulations.
• Clean and help maintain equipment and work areas according to prescribed methods.
• Complete daily tasks such as OTC Report, Duplicate Report, etc.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Shift

2:30pm-11pm Monday through Friday or 2:30pm-11pm Every Saturday and Sunday (3 weekdays for full-time)

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the OH Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is desired.
• Knowledge of brand name and generic medications.
• Ability to work independently, accurately, and efficiently.
• Must be able to multitask and be reliable.
• Familiarity with SIG codes.
• Quick typing skills.
• Computer literate; knowledge of Frameworks LTC system is a plus.
