Job summary

Regent Bank in Tulsa, OK seeks a Senior / Lead Data Software Engineer to own analytics and AI-enabled software delivery. You will architect, build, and optimize Power BI solutions and AI workflows using large language models while ensuring data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to architectural standards, and partner with security, data, and compliance teams to deliver scalable, auditable solutions in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a computing-related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years in data/analytics engineering or software development roles.
• Experience leading design and delivery of production Power BI solutions.
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven applications using large language models.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and architectural ownership for analytics and AI software.
• Architect, develop, and optimize Power BI solutions including datasets, DAX, and security.
• Design AI-powered applications using LLMs and guide agent architecture and prompts.
• Enforce secure SDLC, data governance, and risk controls for AI/analytics.
• Collaborate with data platform, security, and compliance teams to align with risk expectations.
• Mentor engineers through reviews, guidance, and development.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural standards.
