Job summary

Evolution USA is seeking a technical leader to own customer-facing data initiatives from concept to delivery. You will guide a team of engineers, design scalable pipelines, and collaborate with data science and product groups to solve complex scientific and engineering challenges.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and build reusable data tooling while ensuring successful outcomes for clients and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data engineering, data modeling and building data pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL proficiency.
• Proven leadership experience with project delivery and engineering teams.
• Track record of leading complex, customer-facing implementations.
• Ability to balance technical depth with stakeholder management and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Leading a team of engineers while remaining hands-on technically.
• Taking ownership of complex project delivery from requirements gathering through production deployment.
• Designing and building scalable data pipelines, data models, and data products using Python.
• Working closely with customers and cross-functional stakeholders to solve challenging scientific and data engineering problems.
• Driving technical design discussions and architectural decisions.
• Mentoring engineers and helping elevate technical standards across the team.
• Building reusable frameworks, components, and tools that enable future scalability.
• Navigating ambiguity, removing blockers, and ensuring successful customer outcomes.
