Job summary

FICO is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to build and run machine learning and Generative AI solutions in consumer applications. You will create data pipelines, develop ML models, deploy them on AWS, and monitor performance with retraining as needed.

You will also design prompts for LLMs, implement AI features, run experiments, and lead code reviews while mentoring engineers and analysts.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines and deploying ML models in production.
• Strong Python for data engineering and ML; comfortable with notebooks.
• Proven ability to design experiments and measure business impact.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python data pipelines ingesting large datasets.
• Develop ML models (propensity, churn, segmentation) and deploy in production.
• Design and analyze A/B tests; monitor model performance and drift.
• Lead ML engineering best practices and mentor engineers.
