Job summary

Daksta is seeking a Mech Senior Superintendent to lead mechanical construction for data centre projects in Herndon, VA. This role oversees on-site teams, coordinates with engineers and managers, and ensures delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in HVAC, piping, and fire protection systems, with a proven track record of maintaining safety and quality on large-scale builds.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior supervisory role within mechanical construction, preferably data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, piping, and fire protection.
• Proven ability to lead large teams in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Excellent understanding of construction safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site meetings to review progress and align teams on objectives.
• Supervise and inspect mechanical installations for design and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site mechanical issues to minimize delays.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities and safety documentation.
• Mentor junior team members to foster excellence and continuous improvement.
