Job summary

Yearout Mechanical, a Legence Company, seeks a Site Mechanical Superintendent for Data Center Construction to oversee mission-critical field activities across multiple trades, focusing on Hyperscale and Colocation environments.

You will coordinate with the Project Director, Project Managers and the General Superintendent to ensure work aligns with rigorous drawings, BIM/VDC specs, and aggressive speed-to-market schedules.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification is required.
• Deep knowledge of Plumbing, Sheet Metal/HVAC, and General Construction in hyperscale/colocation environments.
• Experience with BIM/VDC coordination and clash detection tools.
• Experience with commissioning of mission-critical cooling systems (Level 1-5).
• Proven leadership in managing multiple trade groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership and OSHA compliance on-site.
• Oversee field progress across data hall build-outs for high-density environments.
• Utilize BIM/VDC tools to align field work with models and avoid spatial conflicts.
• Direct Level 1-5 commissioning, including startup and documentation.
• Coordinate manpower and equipment, ensuring just-in-time material delivery.
• Maintain QA/QMS alignment with high-performance systems.
