Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to lead coordination and execution planning for mechanical infrastructure in large-scale data center programs. You will oversee scope, planning, execution tracking, and turnover readiness from early phases through commissioning.

The role requires strong leadership of cooling, hydronic, BAS, and central utility systems, with close collaboration across PM, engineering, vendors, and clients to meet milestones and quality objectives.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience coordinating mechanical infrastructure for data center projects.
• Experience reviewing RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, commissioning plans, and turnover docs.
• Proven ability to manage programs >$100M in value.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day mechanical coordination across projects and maintain alignment with milestones.
• Oversee scope planning, execution tracking and turnover readiness.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure scope delivery.
• Monitor resource planning, production tracking and schedule adherence.
• Mentor engineers and coordinators to promote collaboration.
• Represent mechanical coordination in cross-functional meetings.
• Develop detailed execution and commissioning plans with PM/MEP teams.
