Big-D Construction in Salt Lake City, UT, is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent for our Mission Critical team. You will lead MEP scope, coordinate subcontractors, manage safety, quality, schedule, and logistics on data center projects, and interface with stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or 7–10 years of related experience on Mission Critical commercial construction. Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7–10 years of related experience on Mission Critical projects.
• Extensive knowledge of construction practices, codes, and standards.
• Strong scheduling, coordination, and cost control capabilities.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and leadership on MEP scope on data center projects.
• Manage safety, quality, schedule, production, logistics and coordination.
• Represent the company in meetings with project stakeholders.
• Coordinate and direct all subcontractors and vendors.
• Establish goals and accountability with the project team.
• Ensure productivity, materials use, and contractual performance.
• Verify subcontractor scope completion and learn industry changes.
